During the interview, it is your opportunity to show your interviewer that you are the person they have been looking for. So how will you handle yourself during the interview? Let me list down the things that you need to do before and during the interview.

1. Greet the interviewer with a friendly smile and a firm handshake. It will set the mood right away.

2.Maintain eye to eye contact when you speak, and when you listen to the interviewer’s questions. This shows that you are interested and respectful.

3. Sit properly on your seat. Do not slouch, but sit halfway through your seat, with your body leaning towards the interviewer. Do not cross your arm and cross your leg.

4. If you do not understand the question of your interviewer, politely tell the interviewer that you did not understand the question. Then ask him if he can repeat the question again.

5. Keep your answer straight to the point or direct. Only give answers based on the questions that is asked by the interviewer.

6. Show to the interviewer that you are a dependable person and you are willing to work hard.

7. If the interviewer will ask, “Why did you leave your previous work?”, then answer without being negative. You can answer like this, “My previous company was good, but I wanted something better and more challenging.”
